Meet the Board
Grace Wozniak, President
When researching breeds for their first dog as adults, Grace and her husband came across a description for a Clumber Spaniel. It sounded like a dog that would meet their requirements, and off they went to meet some. It was love at first sight, and Grace welcomed her first white spaniel into her home in 2004. Her second arrived less than a year later and she began showing in conformation. As the years went by, she knew that this will always be a breed she will cherish. During her many years involved with Clumbers, she has paid attention to health concerns and welcomes the opportunity to serve and improve the breed.

Ms. Amundsen has been practicing law in Madison, Wisconsin, since 2003 when she graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School. A devoted lover of dogs in general, and specifically Clumber Spaniels, she is active in her local all-breed club, Badger Kennel Club, as well as the Clumber Spaniel Club of America. Benjamin Hoyle, Treasurer
It has been an honor to be invited to join the Clumber Spaniel Health Foundation as its Treasurer. In my profession career I spent nearly 30 years working in financial management and executive positions in the non-proft sector. I retired in 2018. My first Clumber joined out family in 2007 from Jim Fankhauser, Nexus Sorcerer’s Apprentice. I finished his conformation championship and added Rally Novice and Rally Advanced titles to his name. I later acquired Nexus Singular Sensation, Lara, who finished her championship title. Lara had one litter sired by CH Bluemoonrysn’s Inspector Clouseau that produced 5 puppies. Three of these puppies finished their championships and grand championships, with 2 of them, GCHB Nexus Roundhay CMDR Adam Dalgliesh (Adam) and GCHB Nexus Roundhay Anticipation (Janie) being nationally ranked in breed and all-breed points. Janie also earned her Tracking Dog title at the 2016 CSCA National tracking test. GCH Nexus Captains Courageous (Cappy) easily finished his championship and then his GCH title just as Covid brought everything to a halt. Cappy also earned his TD in 2019 and TDX in 2023 and is currently training for his VST title. My youngest Clumber, Sky, CH Grand Cabin’s Daydreamer At Roundhay, has proven his versatility by earning his BN, CD, CDX, TD, TDX, RN and RA titles. We are currently training for his UD and VST titles. Owning (or being owned by) Clumbers these many years has certainly been an interesting and rewarding journey. I celebrated my 45th anniversary to my wife, Karen, in 2024 and enjoy having my family and grandchildren in my life.
Carol Page, Secretary
Carol’s interest in Clumbers started in 1983 when she and her husband bought their first one; they were encouraged to show her and became involved with the world of dogs beyond a “pet level”. As their children grew older their interests extended into working the dogs and continue to enjoy this aspect of the breed.
Carol & Chris have a joint affix, Micklemess, and they have bred several litters of Clumber Spaniels; only breeding when they are ready to add new dogs to their own pack. Their dogs have had success both in the show ring and in the field and they currently share their home with six Clumbers.
Carol joined the Committee of the Clumber Spaniel Club in 1999 and was elected Secretary in 2002, a post held until 2012 and she currently serves as Chairman of the Clumber Spaniel Club in the UK. Carol judges Clumber Spaniels at Championship level and has also judged a Field Trial.
Improving the health of the Clumber Spaniel has always been a priority for her and she has always promoted the use of health testing. Carol was appointed as one of the Club’s Health Officers in 2003; Breed Health Coordinator in 2012 and has served on the CSC Health & Welfare Sub Committee since its formation in 2009. She was honoured to be invited to join the Board of Directors of the Clumber Spaniel Health Foundation.
Jayde Dian, Director
Jayde was introduced to Clumber Spaniels on a hunting trip in 2001 and has been in love with and stayed involved with the breed ever since. She started showing her own Clumbers in 2003 and has been participating in AKC hunt tests for the past 10 years.
Achieving and maintaining good health and soundness of the Clumber Spaniel breed is a specific focus of hers. She believes it makes the best foundation for all the activities the Clumber is capable of doing.
She has worked in veterinary clinics since 1998 and became a licensed veterinary technician in 2007. Along with helping all animals stay healthy, her special interests include animal behavior (specifically dog behavior) and exotic animal medicine. She also spent 13 years working in a veterinary emergency clinic.
Jayde lives on the Western border of Wisconsin with her husband, daughter, 2 Clumber Spaniels, 1 cat, 1 tortoise, and a pet snake. She has been a member of the Clumber Spaniel Club of America since 2006 and maintains memberships with the Clumber Spaniel Club of Canada and the Minnesota Hunting Spaniel Association.
Sarah Beaird, director / CSCA VP
Susan Strinden Hall, Director
Susan has been involved with Clumber Spaniels since 1998 and a member of the CSCA since 1998. She has participated in several venues with her Clumbers throughout the years and breeds an occasional litter.
Susan is retired from teaching from the College of Nursing, University of ND. As a member of the local training club, Susan volunteers as a teacher of puppy kindergarten and advanced puppy classes. She uses positive reinforcement training for puppies as a primary focus.
Raina Moss, Director
Raina’s passion for Clumber Spaniels began at age 12. A first-generation dog breeder, she grew up competing in the Washington State Dog-4H program and AKC Juniors. Now 16 years later, she has produced over 100 Clumbers, including nearly 40 Champions across four countries, and 30 Champions under her Rainsway prefix. Her dogs have consistently earned Top Breed rankings along with Specialty wins, Group placements, All-Breed Best in Shows, NOHS Best in Shows, and National Specialty victories. Raina serves the breed as Juniors Coordinator and Public Education Chair for the Clumber Spaniel Club of America, on the board of the Clumber Spaniel Health Foundation, as a founding member of the Pacific Northwest Clumber Spaniel Fanciers, and as an AKC Breeder of Merit.
With a degree in Marketing and Communications, Raina uses her Rainsway platforms (@rainswayclumbers) to promote responsible dog ownership, education, and breed preservation. She is especially passionate about mentoring new breeders and supporting the next generation of dog enthusiasts to help ensure a healthy future for our breeds—particularly our beloved Clumber Spaniel breed.
